Student Finance 2025/26
Don’t let your Student Finance roll away from you.
Full-time undergraduate SFE applications for the 25/26 academic year officially opened on the 10 March 2025. Stay ahead of the game and make sure that if you are starting or returning to study at university in 25/26, that you get your funding in place.
You can make your application now for the new academic year through your online SFE account portal. It takes less than 30 minutes to make an application and SFE have also created a handy Student Toolkit for all your finance related questions about your funding.
If you are eligible for tuition fee only support, you must apply by post. Download the application form from Student Finance forms.
Deadlines to apply
To ensure that you receive your funding for when you start on your course in 25/26, you will need to apply to SFE by the following deadlines:
You can apply for funding after these dates, but your funding may not be in place on time for you when you start on your course in 25/26. You can still apply for funding up to 9 months after the first day of the academic year for your course. For more information click the button below.

1.Only one entry per student. 2. You must be enrolled on a University of Northampton course in the 2024/25 academic year and due to continue your studies in the 2025/26 academic year to enter this competition. 3. The competition will close on 20 June 2025 at 11.59pm. 4. A winner will be selected at random and notified within 7 days. 5. Evidence of your student finance application submission must clearly show your name and that your 25/26 funding application has been submitted.
