Now you have your annual income and expenditure, it’s time to work out a weekly budget.
Our calculator generates your weekly budget by dividing your income and expenditure over the number of weeks you designate.
If you are only budgeting for time whilst studying at University (as you intend to go home outside of term time and will not have any outgoings), then you need to budget for 42 weeks. If you are living in rented accommodation for the duration of the calendar year, paying a mortgage, or studying a long course, then you will need to budget for 52 weeks.
Our calculator quickly highlights any funding shortfalls both annually and weekly. Make sure to write down your budget figures (or take a screenshot or picture of the page) when you are finished as it will not be saved.
